Elevate is an architecture and design studio in Northwest Arkansas. We plan, draw and build remodels, additions and new homes, so the person who designs your project stays with it until the last nail.

We begin with the land, and with the people who will live on it.

Northwest Arkansas is a rare place: hills and hollows, creeks, hardwood forest and long views that change with every season. Its beauty is the reason many of our clients are here, and it is the first thing we think about when we sit down to design.

We believe good design respects the environment it joins. That means building sustainably, with durable materials, thoughtful siting, natural light and efficient systems, and shaping each project so it sits lightly on the land and serves the family for decades.

We carry the example of mentors such as Fay Jones, who saw the potential and the beauty of this region long before many others did. Their care for the place shapes how we work.

Every consultation holds two things together: that respect for Northwest Arkansas, and your needs, wishes and dreams. We listen first, then design a home or a remodel that honors both.

Mark Meier

Principal + Designer

Mark leads every project. He studied architecture at the Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas and has run Elevate since 2015. Before architecture he spent years designing and building worlds for video games, a background that shapes how he models spaces and shows clients what a design will feel like before anything is built. He has also taught architectural modeling at the university level and, earlier, taught fifth and sixth grade at the Clear Spring School in Eureka Springs, with a hands-on curriculum that included environmental education.

Elizabeth Stinnett, AIA

Principal + Architect

Elizabeth is our licensed architect, registered in Arkansas and Texas and certified by NCARB, and she consults on Elevate projects as needed. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Arkansas and studied in Rome. While at the university she helped redesign the town center of Mayflower, Arkansas after a tornado and an oil spill, work that won a 2015 World Architecture News award for urban design, and she helped build the Crystal Bridges pavilion at the Bachman Wilson House. She is a graduate of Leadership Fayetteville and serves on the City of Fayetteville Board of Adjustments and Appeals.

Jonathan M.

Construction + Build Lead

Cathrin Yoder

Director of Design Technology

Cathrin leads the studio's digital design tools that enable accuracy and efficiency throughout the project's development. She spent more than a decade as an Art Professor and Director of Technology, designing an accredited bachelor's program in computer animation used across a network of art schools, chairing the department in Phoenix and directing technology in Dallas. Her portfolio standards helped graduates find work at studios such as Pixar and Industrial Light & Magic. She holds a master's degree in Humanities with an emphasis on art and technology from the University of Texas at Dallas, has served as a SIGGRAPH education curriculum chair and judge, and is also a composer.
